Hello R.J.,
Just yesterday, while on a flight from LA to Atlanta, I read your short
story in the book recently compiled by Stephen Coonts. I have been a fan of
the techno-thriller since Clancy's "Hunt", and have avidly sought out authors with similar talent. I discovered your book "Ultimatum" a few years back and was immediately hooked. I pick up your work whenever I find it,
specifically hardcover volumes.
I thought I would take a moment to let you know that I appreciate your
talent, the way you develop believable characters, and your method of plot
development. However, I do not compare you to Tom Clancy as others might.
I think you compare more favorably with David Poyer, who I consider to be a
master story teller. I sincerely hope you consider that comment a
compliment.
If you keep writing, I will keep reading.
